Haseen bin Numear was put in charge of the police and was ordered to stop people entering Kufa. He found out that Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) was very near Kufa and appointed Hur the leader of an army of 1,000 men, sending him towards Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) to arrest him . When Hur reached Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) he told his men to surround him . Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) instructed his people to set up camp there, and upon noticing this Hur also commanded his army to camp in the area and keep Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) and his followers surrounded . Both groups stayed in their respective camps. The time for Zohar prayer approached, and Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) came out of his tent and approached Hur, telling him:
"I did not come here of my own wish but was called by the people of Kufa. They sent me letters and even came in person to invite me to Kufa.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) then went back to his camp and prepared to lead the Zohar prayer. Hur and his
army also performed the prayer behind Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A). Similarly, when the time for Asr prayer arrived, Imam Husain led Hur and his army as well as his own followers in prayer. After performing the
prayer, Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) addressed Hur and his army, saying:
"O people, fear Allah (swt) and recognise the truth so that Allah will be pleased with you.
Recognise the messages that were sent to me, then let me and my people return to Makkah."
Hur said “I have been ordered to arrest you and take you to the governor of Kufa.”
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) told all his people to gather their belongings and prepare to return to Makkah.
Upon hearing this Hur ordered his men to surround Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) and his people and forceyfully take them to Kufa if they refused to go voluntarily.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) saw four or five people approaching him on camels at a distance from the
direction of Kufa.
Nafi' bin Hilal, one of the four men who came from Kufa, told that the well-to-do people of Kufa had been bought by Ibn- ziad and had turned against him and the poor people of Kufa had also left him because of the fear of the governor but in their hearts they were still with him. Nafi’ then went on to explain what had happened to Qais and Baqtr, and how the
governor had executed them. Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) was hurt and saddened too deeply to stop them flowing.
Another person who had come was Tarmah bin Addi. He advised Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) that because
he did not have a large number of people with him to defeat the governor and his men, he should go with him to a place which was safe from attack because it was behind a mountain and his own tribe of more than 20,000 people would do everything in their power to help Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A). After realising that Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) would not consider going with him Tarmah left. Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) continued heading towards Kufa and reached a place called Qasr Bani Muqatil by evening. In the morning Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) and his people performed Fajar prayer and decided to go back to Makkah, but Hur and his army would not let them move towards Makkah. After some time, they reached a place called Nineveh. When the Imam’s caravan came near this place, they saw a man on a horse coming towards them. He was carrying a message from Ubayd Allah Ziya to Hurr bin Yazid Al-Riyahi.
It was written in letter that “Be firm with Hussain. When you read my letter, do not let him camp anywhere but in the desert where there is no water and no fortification.”
The Imam said, “Then, let us go to Nainawa .
Then, the Imam asked Hurr to let him go a little bit further. Hurr bin Yazid Al-Riyahi agreed and the Imam’s caravan went with Hurr’s troops following behind until they reached Karbala . The day, Holy Imam’s caravan reached Karbala was 2nd of Muharram, 61 Hijra.

Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) received Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A)’s letter, in which he had written that more than
18,000 people had sworn allegiance to him and the numbers were increasiung daily, and had encouraged him to come to Kufa Imamediately. After reading this letter Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) firmly decided to leave for Kufa.
The people again tried to reminding him that the Kufans could not be trusted and would turn against him at any time. But
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) replied saying “Our Prophet (p.b.u.h.) has said that one day the Kabah will be insulted by a lamb man and I do not want to be that lamb person that is why I am leaving Makkah.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) gathered all his family members and his friends and followers who were going
with him and left for Kufa. When the governor of Makkah, Amir bin Sa'id, found out about Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A)’s decision, he tried to stop him. He sent his police to stop and arrest Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A). There was a greater struggle between the two sides, but eventually Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) and his supporters were
able to defeat the police and continue with their journey to Kufa.
During the journey, Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) met with a poet called Farzooq who was on his way. He told ,'' The people’s hearts are still with you, but because of the fear of Yazid, their swords are with Yazid.
Abdullah bin Jaffer was in Makkah. He was the brother in-law of Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) as he was married to Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A)’s sister,Zainab. When he found out that Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) had left Makkah and gone to Kufa, he wrote a letter and sent it to him with his two sons, Oun and Muhammad. After that they carried on with the journey to Kufa and he took his nephews with him.
Qais bin Mush'ir was one of the people with Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A). Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) send a letter to leaders of the tribes of Kufa in the hand of Qais . When Qais was on the entrance of the gate of Kufa, the governor’s men arrested him and took him to the governor.
The governor read the letter and told him that he was going to execute him unless he climbed
on top of the house and shouted abuse to Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) so that everyone could hear. Only
then will he forgive him and spare his life.” Qais got on top of the roof and started to shout,
“O people listen to me. Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) has arrived and is very near Kufa. Obey him, as his mother was the daughter of our Prophet (p.b.u.h.) and his father was Sayyiduna Ali(R.A) , and governer is a liar and a cheat.” When the governor heard this he ordered his men to throw Qais off the roof. One of the governor’s men pushed Qais off the roof; and he fell so
hard that both his arms and legs were broken and he split his skull open, as a result of which he was martyred.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) continued with his journey and sent another person named Abdullah bin Baqtr,
with a similar letter to take to Kufa and give to the leaders of the tribes. He was also arrested and taken to the governor and executed in the same way as Qais was.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) found out about Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A)’s death at a place called Tha‘labiyya where he met a person who had recently come from Kufa. He explained in great detail to what had
been happening in Kufa.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A), for a moment, began to reconsider his decision to go to Kufa. At the same time Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A)’s sons rose and said, “We swear by Allah Most High that we will seek revenge on behalf of our father or die in the attempt and we will not leave until then.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) started to head towards Kufa.
Then Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) and his group came to a place called Zubala, there he received information about the death of the two representatives whom he had sent earlier to
Kufa. (Qais and Baqtr). When Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) heard this he was greatly saddened . He gathered the people together and told them about the problems that they
were going to face when they reached Kufa. He also said, “ many of you might want to leave and can gladly do so.” A lot of people started to disperse slowly until the only people left were those who had initially come with
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) from Makkah.
They continued with the journey, and met a person called Abdullah bin Muti’. He said the same about Kufa.
Now they were very near to kuffa.

While on his way to Makkah Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) also met Hazrat Abdullah bin Muti(R.A) . when he discovered that Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) may undertake a journey to Kufa, he warned Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) about the Kufan that the people of Kufa were very disloyal. He advised Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) not to leave the Makkah under any circumstances.
So Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) settled in Mekkah .
When the people of Kufa heard that Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) had migrated to Makkah, they discussed how to invite  Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) to Kufa from Makkah.
It was decided that a letter of invitation would be sent to Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A).Signatures of many people supported the letter. Every two days a letter was sent to Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A). Some people even went to invite Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) to Kufa in person. On receiving
all the letters and personal invitations, Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A)’s opinion of the people of Kufa began to
change.
Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) sent one of his cousins, Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) , to kufa so he could assess the
situation of Kufa and inform him of his opinion.
Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) left for Kufa . He reached Madina, which was on his journey. He acquired two guides from Madina. But they ran out of water and the two guides passed away due to dehydration. Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) survived and reached an oasis and found water.
He continued with his journey to Kufa. It was 1st of Zil-Hijjah 60 A.H. when Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) reached Kufa.
When the people would hear these letters, they would weep and pledge to support Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) to their last breath.

Nu’man bin Bashir was The governor of Kufa at the time .He gave a speech warning the people of the consequences of opposing
the government. In the meanwhile Yazid appointed Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) the present
governor of Basra, the new Governor of Kufa. Yazid said that It was
urgent because Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A) had sent a representative, Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) , to Kufa on his
behalf, who was seeking allegiance from the people of Kufa and turning them against the
government. He said that he gave him full authority to deal with the matter as he saw best. UbayduLlah bin Ziyad appointed his brother, Uthman, as deputy governor of Basra. He instructed the people of Basra not to cause any friction or rebel against the King since he would not tolerate such actions and would
execute anyone, even members of his family, for causing such troubles.
UbayduLlah bin Ziyad departed for his journey to Kufa with some of his family members. When they had almost reached Kufa he separated from them and entered the city by himself. When the people of
Kufa saw UbayduLlah bin Ziyad entering the city they thought that it was Imam
Husain, and started to sing a song welcoming him into their city. UbayduLlah bin Ziyad did not respond them and continued riding his horse towards The governor’s house. When The governor of
Kufa, Nu’man bin Bashir, heard all the people singing in celebration of Hazrat Imam Husain (R.A)
coming to Kufa, he got frightened and locked the doors of his house . When UbayduLlah bin Ziyad reached his house
and knocked on the door, Nu’man would not open it. Then some one recognized governer of basra and he opened the door.
Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel went to
Hani bin Urwah’s house, asking whether he could stay there. He said that he should not as he might be creating trouble for him and his family. But After that Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) began living there
UbayduLlah bin Ziyad asked one of his slaves to act as a detective to find out where Muslim bin Aqeel was .
The slave approached Muslim bin Awsaja-Asdi who was companion of Muslim bin Aqeel. He said that he
had found out that a relative of the
Prophet is staying in Kufa. After that day they became friends.
Occasionally, Awsaja-Asdi took the slave with him to Hani’s house.
Shareek was Hani's friend and he came his house .His health had deteriorated rapidly and sadly he passed away. A lot people came to Hani’s house to pay their respects and also came to see Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) .
Amongst these visitors was Muslim bin Awsaja-Asdi who used to come and bring the detective along with him. The slave had been continuously reporting back to Ibn Ziyad and
informing him of Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) ’s activities.
As Hani’s health improved he began attending meetings at The governor’s house daily. However, he began
using the excuse that he was ill so that he would not have to attend the meetings. But the slave would report back and tell The governor that there was nothing wrong with Hani . One day The governor asked the people why Hani had not been attending
the meetings. He called him.
When Hani arrived at The governor’s house he was arrested and questioned about why he had opposed King Yazid. The governor ordered if he could not let him go until he hand Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) over to him. However, Hani refused to hand Muslim over to him saying that Muslim was his guest .
Because Hani refused to comply with the authorities, The governor ordered to lock up in prison.
When Hani’s people heard of this they surrounded The governor’s house. The governor called the judge of Kufa, Qadi Shuraih, to come and tell Hani’s people that he was
alive and had been detained temporarily. After listening to Qadi ’s version of events, the people dispersed.
When Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) heard of what had happened he gathered together all 18,000 people
and surrounded The governor’s
house. The governor saw that he could not contend with such a vast crowd as his police force consisted of only 30 men, so he locked himself inside his house. The people surrounded the
house all day.The leaders managed to convince their followers to go home, and the crowd began to disperse.
Eventually there were only a few people left with Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) . Afterwards, he started to walk through the streets of Kufa like a stranger who had just entered the city.
He reached a house and ask for some water. A woman named Tu’ah answered the door. Her son worked for the governor as a detective. Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) asked the woman for some water and the woman
gave him some. She then offered him some food but Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) did not feel
like eating. she had invited Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) to stay in their house as a guest.
The following morning her son Bilal went to the governor’s house to inform him that Muslim bin Aqeel had been seeking refuge in his house. When the governor heard about this he
sent 72 of his policemen to arrest Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) . It was 9th Zil-Hijjah 60th Hijra.
When the police reached they entered and tried to confront Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) to arrest him but
Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) forced them out of the house. The police tried to enter the house on several
occasions but the outcome was always the same. Finally Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) was struck on the
face by the sword of Bakar bin Humran. His upper lip was cut and two of his teeth were broken. The officers then climbed onto the roof of the house and started to throw stones and fire balls inside the house. Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) got on top of the roof of the house and started to fight with the police.
Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) was so tired from fighting that he had to lean against a wall to rest. Some friends of
The governor assured him that if he accompanied them to the governor’s house, he would be guaranteed protection and would not be harmed.
They took him towards the house of the governor.
Tears were flowing from Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A)’s eyes because had written to Imam Husain telling him to come to Kufa.
As Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) was
looking around in governer house he saw that one of his relative, Umar bin Sa’d was standing amongst the
crowd. Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) called him over. The governor told Umar Bin Sa’d that he may proceed.
They went into the corner of the room and had a long conversation. At the end Muslim bin
Aqeel ,'' can you write a letter to Imam Husain telling him that when I arrived in Kufa I was greeted with respect and comfort, and in no time I had more than 18,000 people swearing allegiance to him, daily the numbers were increasing. But they have now all broken their promises and their allegiances and run away.
Tell him that I will be executed soon and I am writing to him so that he does not come to Kufa as the situation here is really bad. After he had made his requests, they both came back.
The governor asked Umar Bin Sa’d what Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) had been saying to him. He told
him everything. The governor told him that he could do as he wished about paying the money
back and about writing the letter to Imam Husain, but refused to give permission to bury Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A)’s body. The governor started to abuse Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (R.A) in front of

In Paradise, they will be safe from death and the fear of leaving it, and from every kind of worry, grief, terror and exhaustion, and from the Shaytan and his wiles, and from all other troubles .

whatever kinds of fruit they ask for will be brought to them, and they will have the security of knowing that this supply will never come to an end or be withheld; these fruits will be brought to them whenever they want.
Hadith
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
"Death will be brought forth in the image of a fine ram. It will be made to stand between Paradise and Hell, then it will be slaughtered. It will be said, "O people of Paradise, it is eternal, no more death; and O people of Hell, it is eternal, no more death.''
Hadith
 The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
“It will be said to the people of Paradise, "It is granted to you that you will be healthy and will never fall ill, you will live and never die, you will enjoy a life of luxury and will never be miserable, you will be youthful and will never grow old.''
<div style="text-align: right;">
Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A)</div>
Hadith
Whoever has Taqwa of Allah, he will enter Paradise and enjoy a life of luxury and he will never be miserable. He will live there in and never die, his clothes will never wear out and his youth will never fade.''
 Hadith

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
'Work and strive hard, and know that no one will enter Paradise by virtue of his deeds. They said, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah'' He said,Not even me, unless Allah showers me with His mercy and grace."
Allah says
They will come to know who will be victorious and whose word will prevail in this world and in the Hereafter. For victory will be for you, O Muhammad, and for your brothers among the Prophets and Messengers.

Those who have Taqwa will be in Gardens and Delight enjoying the various types of delight that Allah has granted them therein, such as various types of foods, drinks, clothes, dwelling places, mounts, and so forth.
Allah will comfort the eyes of the parents by seeing their offspring elevated to their grades.
Surely, Allah will gather them together in the best manner, and He will not decrease the reward or the grades of those higher in rank for joining them together. </div><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Hadith
“The believers and their offspring will dwell in Paradise.
It is Allah's grace and favor that He grants the children this blessing because of the good deeds of their parents. He also grants His favor to parents on account of their offspring invoking Allah for them.
Hadith
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
“Verily, Allah shall elevate the grade of a righteous servant in Paradise, who will ask, "O Lord! How did I earn this'' Allah will reply, "Through your son's invoking Me to forgive you.''
Hadith
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
“When the Son of Adam dies, his record of deeds will cease except in three cases: an ongoing charity, knowledge that people are benefiting from and a righteous son who invokes Allah for him.
Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. Therefore, every person will be responsible for his actions.
No sin committed by others shall ever be added to one's load, even if committed by his or her parents or offspring.
Allah purified the wine of the paradise from the ills and harm causing headaches, stomachaches and intoxication like the wine of this life.
Wine shall not cause those who drink it to utter false, vain words , full of foolishness and evil. Wine of the paradise will be as beautiful in appearance, tasty and fruitful. And there will go round boy-servants of theirs to serve them as if they were preserved pearls. Their servants will be beautiful, graceful in appearance, clean and neat as well-preserved pearls.

On the Day of Resurrection, when the people of Paradise have reached in the gardens of Paradise, they will be too preoccupied with their own victory and new life of eternal delights to worry about anyone else. Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salam''

People of Paradise will turn to one another, asking one another about their situation, how they were in this world and what they suffered.
This is part of their conversation when they get together to converse and drink, sitting on their thrones, servants coming and going, bringing all kinds of good food, drink, clothes and other delights

People in paradise will sit cross-legged on chairs beneath canopies.whatever they ask for, they will find it, and it will be prepared just as they wanted it. whatever kind of drink they want, the servants will bring it to them With cups, and jugs, and a glass of flowing wine .
They will all be of the same age.

The home of the Hereafter will be better, i.e., better than the life of this world, and that the reward in the Hereafter will be more complete than the reward in this life.
In the Hereafter they will have Gardens of Eternity under which rivers flow between its trees and palaces.
when death approaches them in a good state, i.e., free from Shirk, impurity and all evil. The angels greet them and give them the good news of Paradise.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Al Nahl : 30 to 32 </div>
The rivers of paradise flow throughout its regions, beneath its trees and palaces.
Hadith #8
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
“The jewelry of the believer in Paradise will reach as far as his Wudu' reached”.
And their garments there in will be of silk, Sundus and Istabraq fine green silk and gold embroidery.Do not wear fine silk or gold embroidery in this world, for whoever wears them in this world, will not wear them in the Hereafter.”
They will be inspired with words of glorification and praise, just as they are inspired with breath.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Al Hajj : 23 to 24 </div>
For them there will be therein all that they desire, of delights such as food, drink, clothing, dwellings, means of transportation and scenery, and other things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor the heart of anyone can comprehend. They will abide there in forever; it will never cease or come to an end. This is what Allah has promised to those whom.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Al –Furqan 15 ,16 </div>
Those will be rewarded with the highest place because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Al – Kehf (The cave) 30,31 </div>
Death is inevitable and there is no escape from it, and whoever was obedient to Him will have the best reward.
In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside, and their inside can be seen from the outside; Allah has prepared them for those who feed others, who speak well, who pray and fast continually, and who stand in prayer at night while people are asleep.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Al-Ankboot : 58 </div>
Hadith#9
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
“Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish regular prayer, pay Zakah, fast Ramadan and perform pilgrimage to the House. Shall I not tell you of the gates of goodness Fasting is a shield, charity wipes out sin, and the prayer of a man in the depths of the night. The greatest of all things is Islam, its pillars are the prayers and its pinnacle is Jihad for the sake of Allah.
No one knows the vastness of what Allah has concealed for them of everlasting joy in Paradise and delights such as no one has ever seen. Because they conceal their good deeds.
Hadith#10
Whoever enters Paradise, will enjoy a life of luxury and never feel deprivation, his clothes will never wear out, his youth will never fade. In Paradise there is what no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and has never crossed the mind of man.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Al-Sajda:17 to 19 </div>
We should remember Allah standing, sitting down, and lying down on our sides. By night and by day, on land and on sea, when travelling and when staying home, in richness and in poverty, in sickness and in health, in secret and openly, in all situations and circumstances.
Allah says: "Whoever remembers Me to himself, I will remember him to Myself, and whoever remembers Me in a gathering, I will remember him in a better gathering. And make them enter the `Adn Garden which you have promised them”
"The Messenger of Allah and a group of his Companions, passed by a young child in the road.
When his mother saw the people, she feared that her child may be crushed by the crowd, so she rushed forward, crying, `My son, my son!' She ran and picked him up, and the people said, `O Messenger of Allah, she would never throw her child in the Fire.'
Hadith#11
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said
“No, and Allah will not throw His beloved in the Fire.”
Allah has prepared for them a generous reward and everything in it of food, drink, clothing, dwellings, physical pleasure, luxuries and delightful scenes, such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard and has never entered the mind of man.
<div style="text-align: right;">
In the light of Surah Ahzab :44 </div>
The angels lower their wings being pleased with the one who seeks knowledge. Whoever is in the heavens and on earth, even the fish in the sea, ask for forgiveness for the scholar. Fear of everything that is feared has been lifted from us and we have been relieved of all that we used to fear of the anxieties of the world and the Hereafter.
 Hadith#12
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: -

Hazrat Yusuf (A.S) was thrown in well (stories from Qurran)

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Stories from Qurran
Hazrat Yusuf was thrown in a Well
Hazrat yusuf ( A.S) was prophet of God and king of Misr . His step brothers were his enemy . Because Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) was very beloved to his father They agreed to a particularly vicious crime that involved cutting the relation of the womb, undutiful treatment of parents, and harshness towards the young.
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>

It was also harsh towards the old and weak who have the rights of being respected, honored and appreciated, as well as, being honored with Allah and having parental rights on their offspring. They sought to separate the beloved father, who had reached old age and his bones became weak, from his beloved young son, in spite of his weakness, tender age and his need of his father's kindness.
According to their plan ,to take him and throw him down the well,

well

taking the advice of their elder brother Rubil, they went to their father Ya`qub, peace be upon him. They said to him, "Why is it that you,
Do not trust us with Yusuf though we are indeed his well-wishers.'' They started executing their plan by this introductory statement, even though they really intended its opposite, out of envy towards Yusuf for being loved by his father.
They said,
"Send him with us tomorrow so that we all enjoy ourselves and play. And verily, we will take care of him. we will protect him and ensure his safety for you.
He (Ya`qub) said: “Truly, it saddens me that you should take him away.He said that it was hard on him that he be separated from for the duration of their trip, until they came back.
This demonstrates the deep love that Ya`qub had for his son, because he saw in Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) great goodness and exalted qualities with regards to conduct and physical attractiveness associated with the rank of prophethood. May Allah's peace and blessings be on him.
Hazrat yaqub (A.S) said
“ I fear that you might be careless with him while you are tending the cattle , then a wolf might come and eat him while you are unaware.' .
Hazrat yaqub’s sons gave a spontaneous reply for their father's statement,
saying `If a wolf should attack and devour him while we are all around him , then indeed we are the losers and weak.'
So that his father sends him with a good heart and comfortable with his decision.
Hazrat Ya`qub (A.S), peace be upon him, embraced Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) , kissed him and supplicated to Allah for him when he sent him with his brothers.
The time spent between pretending to be well-wishers and harming Yusuf was no longer than their straying far from their father's eyes. They then started abusing Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) , by cursing, and harming him by beating. When they reached the well that they agreed to throw him in, they tied him with rope and lowered him down.
Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) would beg one of them, he would smack and curse him. When he tried to hold to the sides of the well, Yusuf’s brothers struck his hand and then cut the rope when he was only half the distance from the bottom of the well. He fell into the water and was submerged. However, he was able to ascend a stone that was in the well and stood on it.
Then Allah revealed to Yusuf, `Do not be saddened by what you have suffered. Surely, you will have a way out of this distress and a good end, for Allah will aid you against them, elevate your rank and raise your grade. After throwing in the bottom of the well. They went back to their father, during the darkness of the night, crying and showing grief for losing Yusuf.
They started giving excuses to Hazrat yaqoob(A.S) for what happened to Yusuf.
They tried to lessen the impact of the news they were delivering. They said, ``You have reason not to believe us because of the strange coincidence that happened to us
And they brought Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) shirt stained with false blood. They slaughtered a sheep and stained Hazrat Yusuf ( A.S) shirt with its blood.
They claimed that this was the shirt Yusuf was wearing when the wolf devoured him. But, they forgot to tear the shirt, and this is why Allah's Prophet Hazrat Ya`qub (A.S) did not believe them. Rather, he told them what he felt about thus refusing their false claim
Hazrat yaqoob Ya`qub said, `I will firmly observe patience for this plot on which you agreed, until Allah relieves the distress with His aid and compassion.
And it is Allah (alone) Whose help can be sought against the lies and unbelievable incident that you said had occurred.
