<span style="font-size: large;">Yunus was one of the Messengers. When he ran to the laden ship: Then he agreed to cast lots, and he was among the losers.Then a big fish swallowed him as he had done an act worthy of blame. He had not been of them who glorify Allah. He would have indeed remained inside its belly the fish till the Day of Resurrection. But Allah cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick. And Allah caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. And sent him to a hundred thousand people or even more. They believed; so Allah gave them enjoyment for a while. </span> <br />
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #8fb08c; font-weight: bold;">Story of  </span><span style="font-size: large;">Hazrat Yunus (A.S)</span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">Once Hazrat Yunus (A.S) and his companions were traveling on a laden ship. Suddenly there came a severe stormin the sea. Their ship was being pounded by the waves on all sides, and they were at risk of drowning, so they drew lots, and whoever lost would be thrown overboard so as to lighten the load. The Prophet of Allah Hazrat Yunus (A.S) lost the draw three times, but they did not want to throw him overboard. </span> <br />

<span style="font-size: large;">When Hazrat Yunus (A.S) ran to the laden ship and he was among the losers. He was among those who have been overcome. He took off his garment so that he could throw himself into the sea, and they tried to stop him. Then Allah commanded a large fish from the Green Sea (i.e., Mediterranian Sea) to cleave the oceans and come and swallow Yunus, peace be upon him, without cutting his flesh or breaking his bones. </span> <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The fish came and Yunus, peace be upon him, threw himself overboard, and the fish swallowed him and took him away, traveling through all the seas with him. When Hazrat Yunus (A.S) had stayed for some time in the fish's belly, he thought that he had died. Then he moved his head and legs and arms, and saw that he was alive. He prayed in the belly of the fish.</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">"O Lord, I have taken as a place of worship to You a place which no other person has reached.'' </span> <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">A Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.'' </span> <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">This call went and hovered around the mighty Throne, and the angels said, "O God , this is the voice of one who is weak but known, in a far away strange land. </span> <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah said,</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">"How do you know this'' </span> <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Angels said, "O Lord, who is he''</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah said, "My servant Yunus.''</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Angels said, "Your servant Yunus, from whom there kept coming and supplications which were answered!''</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Angels said, "O Lord, will You not have mercy on him for what he did during his time of ease, and save him from this trial .</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah said, "Of course.'' So, Allah commanded the great fish, and it cast him forth on the naked shore.</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah threw him out,'on the naked shore land in which there is no vegetation and no buildings. Hazrat Yunus (A.S) was weak of body. Allah caused a plant of<b> squash</b> gourd to grow over him. Allah sent him to a hundred thousand people or even more. It is as if he was commanded, after he came forth from the fish, to go back to those to whom he had been sent in the first place, and they all believed in him.</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">They numbered one hundred and ten thousand.</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Some said he remained in fish belly forthree days.It swallowed him in the morning and cast him forth in the evening.'' and Allah knows best how long exactly was</span>  <br />
<b><span style="color: #4bacc6; font-size: large;">squash</span></b>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">squash is a plant .</span>  <br />
<span style="font-size: large;">squash has a number of benefits It grows quickly. Its leaves offer shade because of their large size and smooth texture, flies do not come near it, and its fruits provide good nourishment. They may be eaten raw or cooked, and both the pulp and the peel may be eaten. It was reported that the Messenger of Allah used to like squash and would look for it wherever it was on the serving dish.</span>  <br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Hazrat Zakariyya(A.S)  was a great Prophet from the Prophets of the Children of Israel. He was afraid that the generation that would succeed him would be a wicked generation.So he asked Allah for a son who would be a Prophet after him. who would guide them with his prophethood and that which was revealed to him.He asked son not for giving him wealth.He was not wealthy but he was a carpenter who ate from the earnings of his own hand. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> <span style="color: #660000;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;">Hadith </span></b></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The Holy Prophet said about Hazrat Zakariyya(A.S)   that He was a carpenter who used to eat from what he earned with his own hand through carpentry. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> The Messenger of Allah(PBUH) said,
(We (the Prophets) do not leave behind inheritance . Whatever we leave behind, then it is charity.) </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Sahih Al-Bukhari and muslim </span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"> Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in the Mihrab, (saying): "Allah gives you glad tidings of Yahya.” </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;"> Hazrat Zakariyya(A.S) </span>was amazed when his supplication was answered . He became extremely overjoyed and asked how this child would be born to him. This was particularly amazing because his wife was an old woman who was barren . </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Even Hazrat Zakariyya(A.S)  himself  had become old and  his bones had become feeble and thin.
Then he (the angel) mentioned to him that which is more amazing than what he was asking about. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Hazrat Zakariyya(A.S)  asked to Allah 
“My Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead.” </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah said: "Do you not believe'' He said: "Yes I believe, but to put my heart at ease.'</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Then Allah says,
(He said, "Your sign will be that you shall not speak unto mankind for three nights, your tongue will be prevented from speaking for three nights while you are healthy and fit, without any sickness . So his tongue was arrested without any sickness or illness.He used to recite and glorify Allah, but he was not able to speak to his people </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Then he came out to his people from the Mihrab .
Hazrat  Zakariyya (A.S) made a gesture to them that was subtle and swift.  They should be agreeable to what he was commanded to do during these three days, to increase in his deeds and gratitude to Allah for what He had given him. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Then Promised boy was born and he was Hazrat Yahya(A.S). There is also the implication that Allah taught him the Book, the Tawrah which they used to study among themselves. The Prophets who were sent to the Jews used to rule according to the Tawrah, as did the scholars and rabbis among them. He was still young in age when Allah gave him this knowledge. This is the reason that Allah mentioned it.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Because of how Allah favored him and his parents.
 he was given understanding, knowledge, fortitude, diligence and zeal for good and the pursuit of good. He was blessed with these characteristics even though he was young. 
This was gentleness from His Lord upon him.
 Then, after mentioning these beautiful characteristics, Allah mentions his reward . </span><br />
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Three situatins when a man feel loneliness </span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">The loneliest that a man will ever feel is in three situations. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">1-The first situation is on the day that he is born, when he sees himself coming out of what he was in.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">2- The second situation is on the day that he dies, when he sees people that he will not see anymore. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">3-The third situation is on the day when he is resurrected, when he sees himself in the great gathering. Allah has exclusively honored Yahya, the son of Zakariyya, by granting him peace in these situations </span><br />

 our Lord, raise in their midst a Messenger from among them, who should 
recite to them Your verses, and teach them the Book and the wisdom, and 
make

them pure. Indeed You, and You alone, are the

All-Mighty, the All-Wise. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">"

Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) requested Allah to send a prophet from among them.

There were two reasons for this. </span><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> First Reason </span></b><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The

appearance of a prophet from among them would in itself  be an honour

and a blessing. </span><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Second reason </span></b><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The prophet being a member of their own

Group. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> Hadith  about prayer of Hazrat Ibrahim(A.S)</span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah promised that this prophet would be sent in the last of all

ages. Holy Prophet (Pbuh) has said that Allah had chosen him as the Last

Prophet at a time when Hazrat Adam (A.S)  was not yet born and

only his clay was being prepared, and that he was the manifestation of

the prayer of his father, Hazrat 1brahim (A.S), of the good tidings

brought by Hazrat Eisa (A.S), and of the dream seen

by his mother. The Mother of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Amna (R.A) had, during her pregnancy,

seen in a dream that a light went out of her which illumined the places

in far-off  Syria.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">The verse speaks separately of "reciting" the Holy Qur'an and of

"teaching" it.

The words of the Holy Qur'an are no less important in themselves. For an audience it should have apparently

been enough to recite the Holy Qurran, without any explanation because

Holy Qur'an is not like other books where meanings are the ultimate

object.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> In the case of the Holy Qur'an the words are in themselves as

necessary and inalienable a part of the intention as the meanings.If one

were to recite this modified version in Salah, one's prayers shall not be

valid.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> The Arabic word Yatlii which 
signifies

"to follow, to obey", but in the terminology of the Qur'an denotes the 
recitation or reading of the Holy Qurran.The word also suggests that it 
is obligatory to read the Holy Qurran exactly as it has been revealed by
 Allah, and not to add or subtract a word on one's own part, not even to
 change the pronounciation

of a word . </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Hence the Fuqah have forbidden the printing and publication of a

translation of the Holy Qurran without the Arabic text. It is

wrong to speak of an "Urdu Qurran" or "English Qurrrn", simply because

a translation of the original into any language cannot

properly be called "the Qurran".

There are so many people these days who suppose that the Holy

Qur'an is like other books, and believe that it is a waste of time to read without knowing what they mean. The

recitation of the words of the Holy Qurran is in itself a regular act of

worship and brings a great reward.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> The Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his

Companions knew the meanings of the Holy Qurran as

no one else can, and yet they never thought that once they had

understood it and acted upon it, nothing more was required of them.

They kept reciting the Holy Qurran again and again. Some of the <a href="http://dehleez-e-islam.blogspot.com/2014/08/companions-of-holy-prophet-pbuh.html" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #0b5394;"><b>Companions o</b></span></i></a>f Holy Prophet(PBUH) used to recite the

whole Qurran Pak in a single day, some in two days, and some in

three.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Reciting the Holy Qur'an in one week has always been quite a

usual practice among the Muslims.

Recitation of the Holy Qurran as an act of worship, carrying a

reward of its own, Allah has been very merciful to those

who are not for some reason yet able to understand the

meanings, and has saved them from the misfortune of being

indifferent to the words and thus being totally deprived of the

blessings which flow from His Book. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Even such Muslims should, no

doubt, keep trying to understand the meanings too so that they may

receive the blessings in full, and the ultimate purpose of the

Revelation

Second function of Prophets .

(2) According to the present verses, "teaching the Book" is a

prophetic function distinct from "reciting the Verses".</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> We can easily

infer from it the principle that in order to understand the Holy Qur9an

it is not sufficient merely to know the Arabic language, but that it also

requires the "teaching" of the Holy Prophet $& . </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">As every one knows,

in order to learn a science or art - be it medicine or engineering, or

something as ordinary as cookery - it is not enough to read a book or to

be proficient in a language. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Had it been the only qualification

required, one could have easily mastered all the sciences and the arts

on which one could find books written in the language one knew. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">To

learn the meanest craft, then, one needs the regular and constant

guidance of a teacher. This being so, how can one hope to understand,

unaided,

In order to

understand the Book of Allah properly it is not enough, to listen to a recitation of the

verses. Such an understanding can be acquired only through the teaching of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Allah knows that an understanding of His Book depends on the guidance of a

teacher

On the guidance, not of an ordinary teacher, but of one who in his turn

receives guidance from Allah Himself directly through Revelation

Allah has sent the Holy Prophet to men for the

explaining to them in detail the injunctions and the

meanings of the Qurran

Along with "teaching the Qurran" the prophetic functions include

the teaching of the principles and modes of spiritual discipline. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Every Muslim, man or woman,

should as a Muslim be a life-long student, keen to learn what the Holy

Prophet(PBUH) has taught. If one cannot for some reason master the

different sciences connected with the Holy Qurran and the Sunnah.
