Evil Eye </h2>
 All human beings are effected by the evil eye. It cannot be ignored. The Holy Prophet (pbuh) has also confirmed its truth.

Hadith about evil eye </h3>
 The Holy Prophet(PBUH) said

'The evil eye makes a human being enter the grave, and a camel enter a petty pot.'

There was an occasion when Hazrat Sahl ibn Hunayfa (R.A) took off his shirt to get ready to go for a bath. Amir Ibne Rabiha to cast a glance at the bright tint and healthy look of his body.  
The remark he made was:  
'Until this day, I have never seen a body as handsome as this!' No sooner did these words escape his mouth, an instant high temperature seized Hazrat Sahl ibn Hunayf (R.A) .  
When the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was informed about it, he(pbuh) suggested that ' ibn Rabi'ah should make Wudu', and let this water be poured on the body of Sahl ibn Hunayf.

When it was done , the temperature dropped down immediately. He became fully fit.  
The Holy Prophet (pbuh) gave a gentle warning by telling him: 'Why would someone kill his brother? (When you saw his body) you could have made a dua' for barakah.  
It is true that the evil eye leaves its effect.'

This Hadith also tells us that, should someone notice about the person or property of somebody else, let him make dua for him that Allah blesses him with barakah in it. 
 One should say: 
 Alliihu liiquwwata illti billiih :  
 Whatever Allah will - there is no power but with Him.  
This removes the effect of the evil eye. This also tells us that, should someone become affected by a person's evil eye, the pouring of water used by that person in wudhu will help eliminate the effect of the evil eye.  
The evil eye is effecting and causing harm. The real fact is that the effect of the evil eye over one's person or property is an induced state as in hypnosis, though not necessarily in sleep or pre-set clinical conditions.

This would be more like a harmful medicine or food which makes one sick excessive heat or cold which make some diseases show up.  
The effective measures demonstrated by the evil eye or mesmerism are one of the customary causes which would, through the power of the eye, make its effects manifest. The truth is that they themselves have no real effectiveness of their own.

Instead, all universal causes operate under the perfect power, will and intention of Allah .  
No favourable measures taken against what can the harmfulness of some harmful measure become effective.

And I cannot help you in any way against the will of Allah. Sovereignty belongs to none but Allah. In Him I place my trust,and in Him should trust those who trust. 
 It means:  
I know that the necessary precautions I have ordered you to take so as to help you remain protected against the evil eye cannot avert the will and intention of Allah. What works here is but the command of Allah. However, one has been asked to do what is physically possible.  
Therefore, I have given this advice. But, I place my trust, not on these physical arrangements, but in Allah alone. And it is imperative for everyone that he or she should trust in and rely on Him alone - never placing one's trust in physical or material means. </div>

Pride haith falls

Qarun and his treasure </h3>
 Qarun belonged to the race of Hazrat Musa. In the beginning, he was a pious man. Later on, he learnt the science of changing metals into gold and soon became a wealthy man. He had so much wealth that the keys of his treasures could only be carried by a group of strong and stout persons.

His wealth made him proud and he would go out with great pomp and show. He rejoiced over his wealth and used to look down upon others.

Some people used to envy Qarun’s wealth. But the sensible people did not approve of it. They advised him not to be proud of his wealth because Allah does not like pride. They told him to spend some of his wealth on charity and good works. 
 But Qarun answered: “I have earned this wealth with my own wisdom and skill. Allah didn’t give it to me. Why should I give it away in charity?”

Hazrat Musa(A.S) would often preach to the people in the streets of Egypt. He would remind his people to worship only Allah and not to care for worldly goods.  
At the same time, Qarun, dressed up in grand clothes followed by his servants, carrying the keys to his treasures would pass by. This would distract the attention of the people. Some of them would turn away from Hazrat Musa(A.S) to take a look at Qarun. 
 They would wish to have his wealth in this world, rather than to enjoy the good things and pleasures of the next world.

Hazrat Musa(A.S) would be very upset but there was nothing he could do about it. Qarun was very mean and stubborn. He would often behave with Hazrat Musa in a very rude manner.

Soon, Allah punished Qarun for his rude behaviour and pride. He took away from him what he had in plenty. He sank him and all his treasure deep down into the earth. Thus, his wealth was of no use to him nor to anyone else. 
 Those people who had envied Qarun for his wealth realized that pride and boastfulness lead to destruction. In fact, real happiness and prosperity are reserved for those people who are true believers.

Hazrat Daud ,Jaloot and Taloot </h3>
 Many years after the death of Hazrat Musa, Talut was made the king of Bani Israel. Under his command, the Bani Israel marched to fight the army of Jalut, who was a very strong and famous fighter. When the battle started, Jalut challenged anyone from the army of Talut to fight him. 
 But he was so strong that nobody dared to come forward.

In the army of Talut, there was a young shepherd. His name was Hazrat Daud(A.S). He asked the king’s permission to fight against Jalut. The permission was given. Hazrat Daud (A.S) had only a sling and a staff, which he used to tend his sheep. With a sling he shot a stone at Jalut (A.S) which hit him on the forehead. 
 He fainted and fell down. Hazrat Daud (A.S) then slew him with his sword. With the death of their leader, the enemy ran away.

Hazrat Daud was made king after the death of Talut. During his rule, he fought many battles and expanded his empire by conquering other countries.  
As king, he did not live on people’s money. He made his living by making various objects of iron and steel. Once, he prayed to Allah to make his work easy for him. Allah answered his prayer and gave him the strength to make iron soft in his hands, so that he could make coats of armour with it for protection in battle. 
 Allah had given him great wisdom and power of sound judgement and he ruled over his people with justice. Hazrat Daud could understand the speech of birds and animals. He could talk to them in the same way as people talk to each other. 
 Hazrat Daud had a very melodious voice. When he sang the praises of Allah, the birds would gather together to sing with him.

Later on, Allah made him a prophet. He gave him the Divine Zabur, which he used to recite in a beautiful voice in order to attract people towards-Allah’s revelations.

Manners of the Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh)

Manners of the Holy Prophet(pbuh) </h3>
 The Holy Prophet(pbuh) sat with the people with grace and good manners. When he (pbuh) said anything, his companions listened to him very attentively and quietly. He never interrupted other people’s conversation. 
 If he did not like anything, he simply ignored it, and did not utter any word of disapproval. He had strictly forbidden his companions to report other people’s defects and weaknesses to him.

The Holy Prophet(pbuh) shared the conversation of  the assembly. Whatever people talked about, he also talked about it. He shared in their laughter and civilised humour and himself talked about pleasant and humorous things. He enquired about people’s needs and requirements.  
 The Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to stand up from feelings of love for some people when they came to meet him. For example, when his daughter, Hazrat Fatima(R.A), came to him, he often stood up, and kissed her forehead with love. He also stood up for his foster-mother, Bibi Halima and spread a sheet of cloth for her to sit down.

The Holy Prophet(pbuh) never spoke loudly or in an unseeming manner.  
He was never harsh and never picked a quarrel with anybody. His speech was extremely soft and sweet and cast a spell over his audience whenever he spoke. His speech was brief and-short. It was full of truth, piety, wisdom and morality.

The Holy Prophet(pbuh) used to speak moderately, neither slow nor fast, with pauses in between. This enabled the listeners to understand and remember whatever he said.The Holy Prophet(pbuh) was not talkative. He spoke in a distinct and leisurely manner.  
His wife, Hazrat Ayesha(R.A), said to the people: “Allah’s Messenger did not go on talking rapidly as you do, but spaced out his words, so that those who sat with him could remember them.”

It was his habit that whenever he met anyone, he was the first to greet him and to shake hands.  
He did not withdraw his hand until the other did so, and did not turn his face away until the other did so. 
 He listened attentively to anyone who spoke to him and turned to him with all his being. When he went

shopping in the market, he always passed by the people quietly with a smile.  
 No one who sat in his company ever felt that the holy prophet(pbuh) was rude to him or that he ignored him. He never offended or humiliated anyone by his word or deed.  
No one ever heard anything bad from him nor did he ever use bad language.  
Everyone sitting in his company felt that he was being treated with the utmost respect and honour.

It is reported by one of his <a href="http://dehleez-e-islam.blogspot.com/2014/08/companions-of-holy-prophet-pbuh.html" target="_blank">companions</a> that the holy prophet(pbuh) said: “ The people from among you who are dear to me and will sit close to me on the Day of Judgement are those who have good manners and are polite. ”

Once, he was asked what deeds would take people to Paradise. He replied: “Fear of Allah and politeness. ”

He once said that there were places in Heaven for those people who spoke with politeness and gentleness.

In short, the holy prophet(pbuh) was a perfect model of politeness, fine manners and decency.  
He was unparalleled in manners and character. Whoever came into contact with him was deeply impressed by his qualities. They loved him for his good manners, politeness and friendly behaviour. He spoke to everyone with civility and politeness and taught others to do the same by his personal example. It was this quality that won him the support and admiration of even his bitter and deadly enemies.

Four books of Allah

Books of Allah </h2>
A Muslim should have belief in all the books revealed to the prophets by Allah, but as the Quran is the last revelation of Allah its teachings alone should be followed now. 
From Hazrat Adam(A.S) to Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh), all the Prophets and apostles received Allah’s revelation. According to tradition, there were one hundred and twenty four thousand Prophets and so naturally there were a large number of revealed books. 
Mention is made in the Holy Quran about revelations made to Hazrat Nuh(A.S), Hazrat Ismail(A.S), Hazrat Ishaq(A.S), Hazrat Ibrahim(A.S), Hazrat Musa(A.S), Hazrat Isa(A.S) and the other Prophets. 
The well known books mentioned in the Holy Quran are: 
Taurat 
(1) Taurat or Torah also known as the Old Testament, is the book revealed to Hazrat Musa as confirmed by the Holy Quran in surah Al-Maida:44 
“It was we who revealed The law (Taurat) (to Moses) ” 
Taurat describes the creation of the universe as the work and will of one Allah who created the heavens and the earth in six days in the following order: light, water, dry ground, vegetation, sun, moon, birds, animals and finally Hazrat Adam. 
Human beings then multiplied from Hazrat Adam and Hazrat Hawa, Hazrat Nuh(A.S), Hazrat Ibrahim(A.S), Hazrat Ismail(A.S), Hazrat Yaqub(A.S) and <a href="http://dehleez-e-islam.blogspot.com/2013/11/hazrat-yusuf-a.html" target="_blank">Hazrat-yusuf(A.S)</a>. It records the enslavement of Bani Israil by the Pharoahs and their deliverance. It narrates how Hazrat Musa (A.S) received the ten commandments of Allah at the Mount of Sinai. 
Taurat also discusses the lawful and the unlawful, the clean and the unclean, sacred festivals and reward for good and punishment for evil. It also describes the final instructions of Hazrat Musa(A.S) to his fellow- men after he brought them in the Promised Land of Canaan. 
Zabur or the Psalms: 
These were revealed to Hazrat Daud. 
The Quran says in Surah Al-Nisa verse 163 
“We bestowed the Psalms on Daud”.

Injil or the Bible also known as the New Testament was revealed to Hazrat Isa, the Holy Quran says: 
“We sent Isa the son of Maryam and gave him the Injil. ”

The new Testament is also known as the gospel which means the “good news”. The Bible gives an account of the religion of the Jews and the Christians and of the prophets from Hazrat Adam(A.S) to Hazrat Isa(A.S). It describes the creation of the Universe by Allah and the preaching of Hazrat Isa about the unity and sovereignty of Allah and his prophethood. Hazrat Isa (A.S) confirmed the message of the Torah and also gave the glad tidings of the arrival of a messenger after him, whose name would be Ahmad i.e the ‘praised one’. 
Muslims accept the text of the gospels as long as they are in conformity with the teachings of Hazrat Ibrahim which quite often they are not. 
The principles of religion and the guidance sent by Allah from time to time were common to all the revealed books. However none of these books are available in original form today. Therefore, a Muslim should believe in all these books but he should have faith only in what is contained in the Holy Quran, whose commands are for all times and will neither be changed nor cancelled.

Quran is a complete book  
The Quran is a complete Book which provides guidance in all spheres of human activity.It is a miracle. Its teachings are for all times and conditions.

The Arabic word Quran means reading or recitation. The Quran is a record of the revelations or commands sent by Allah and received by Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) through angel Jibrael.  
The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) over a period of several years. Revelations started in the fortieth year of Hazrat Muhammad’s(pbuh ) life when he was appointed the prophet of Allah and continued for twenty-three years.

As he approached the fortieth year of his life, the Holy Prophet(pbuh) would spend most of his time in worship and solitude in the cave of Hira.  
 Once, while he was in worship there, Hazrat Jibrael appeared and told him to read. “I cannot read”, he replied. This was repeated three time after which the angel pressed him to his breast and recited the first five verses of Surah Iqra also known as Surah Alaq. It was the first revelation of Qurran . 
The angel then disappeared, leaving the Holy Prophet(pbuh in a disturbed state) of mind.

He returned home and told his experience to his wife, Khadija. He said that he feared he may not be able to bear the burden and might die. Hazrat Khadija consoled him and said that Allah will not let such a thing happen to him because he led a good life and spoke the truth.  
She then went to her cousin Warqa bin Naufil who declared that Muhammad (pbuh)

he(Pbuh) was Allah’s messenger.

There was a break between the first and second revelation. Then the first seven verses of Surah Muddassir were revealed. After that, revelations were received by the Holy Prophet(pbuh )from time to time until the final revelation on the occasion of the last pilgrimage in 10 A.H.

As soon as he received a revelation, the Holy Prophet(pbuh) communicated it to his followers. He asked them not only to learn it by heart in order to recite during prayers, but also to write it down. These revelations were written on stone tablets, date palm leaves and bones of camels.  
 The Holy Quran was revealed in portions and its arrangement was done by the Holy Prophet(pbuh) under Divine guidance. Whenever a Surah or an ayat was revealed it was given its specific place and written by the scribes under the direction of the Holy Prophet(pbuh).

The Holy Quran addresses man directly and encourages him to adopt the right path. 
 It aims at purifying the heart and mind of man and moulds his character. It gives an account of the creation of the heavens and earth, and of man himself. It tells us about Allah, angels and the prophets who came before the Holy Prophet(pbuh). It gives a detailed explanation of life after death, day of judgement and the reward of good and punishment for evil deeds. 
 A Muslim is required to read and study the Holy Quran regularly. It is the word of Allah and a Blessed Book containing a complete code of life. It should be studied with the object of acting in accordance with its teachings and as a source of guidance in all matters.

The Arabic word Quran means reading or recitation. The Quran is a record of the revelations or commands sent by Allah and received by Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) through angel Jibrael. 
The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) over a period of several years. Revelations started in the fortieth year of Hazrat Muhammad’s(pbuh ) life when he was appointed the prophet of Allah and continued for twenty-three years.  
As he approached the fortieth year of his life, the Holy Prophet(pbuh) would spend most of his time in worship and solitude in the cave of Hira. 
 Once, while he was in worship there, Hazrat Jibrael appeared and told him to read. “I cannot read”, he replied. This was repeated three time after which the angel pressed him to his breast and recited the first five verses of Surah Iqra also known as Surah Alaq. It was the first revelation of Qurran .The angel then disappeared, leaving the Holy Prophet(pbuh in a disturbed state) of mind.  
He returned home and told his experience to his wife, Khadija. He said that he feared he may not be able to bear the burden and might die. Hazrat Khadija consoled him and said that Allah will not let such a thing happen to him because he led a good life and spoke the truth. She then went to her cousin Warqa bin Naufil who declared that Muhammad (pbuh) was Allah’s messenger. 
There was a break between the first and second revelation. Then the first seven verses of Surah Muddassir were revealed. After that, revelations were received by the Holy Prophet(pbuh )from time to time until the final revelation on the occasion of the last pilgrimage in 10 A.H. 
As soon as he received a revelation, the Holy Prophet(pbuh) communicated it to his followers. He asked them not only to learn it by heart in order to recite during prayers, but also to write it down. These revelations were written on stone tablets, date palm leaves and bones of camels. 
The Holy Quran was revealed in portions and its arrangement was done by the Holy Prophet(pbuh) under Divine guidance. Whenever a Surah or an ayat was revealed it was given its specific place and written by the scribes under the direction of the Holy Prophet(pbuh). 
The Holy Quran addresses man directly and encourages him to adopt the right path. It aims at purifying the heart and mind of man and moulds his character. 
 It gives an account of the creation of the heavens and earth, and of man himself. It tells us about Allah, angels and the prophets who came before the Holy Prophet(pbuh). It gives a detailed explanation of<a href="http://dehleez-e-islam.blogspot.com/2013/11/proof-of-life-after-death-stories-from.html" target="_blank"> life after death</a>, day of judgement and the reward of good and punishment for evil deeds. 
A Muslim is required to read and study the Holy Quran regularly. It is the word of Allah and a Blessed Book containing a complete code of life. First Islamic state

First Islamic State at Madinah </h2>
The migration of the Holy Prophet(pbuh) from Makkah to Madinah proved to be a turning point in his life. In Makkah, he was a religious teacher only, while in Madinah, he also took on the roles of a ruler and statesman. He became the head of the first Islamic State at Madinah. After the arrival of the Holy Prophet(pbuh) in Madinah, the following groups of people resided in Madinah.

Muhajirin: </h3>
"Those Muslims who had migrated from Makkah to Madinah were known as Muhajirin or Emigrants." 
<h3>
Ansar: </h3>
"Those who belonged to Madinah and because they had given shelter to the Holy Prophet(pbuh) and the emigrants and had helped them were known as the Ansar or the Helpers."   
<h3>
Hypocrites:</h3>
" Those who had accepted Islam but were not truly Muslims." 
 Their leader was Abdullah bin Ubbay. Before the Holy Prophet’s(pbuh) migration, preparations were underway to crown him the king of Madinah. After the Holy Prophet’s(pbuh) migration, he was deprived of that position. He, however, continued to have great influence over all those who did not readily accept the Holy Prophet(pbuh). 
Tribes in Madina:   
There were three famous tribes at Madina 
1-Banu Qainuqa 
2- Banu Nadir  
3-Banu Quraiza.  
They were all settled in the suburbs of Madinah and had their own strong fortress.

Brotherhood in between Muhajirin and Ansar </h3>
After arriving in Madinah, the Holy Prophet(pbuh )decided to establish brotherhood between the emigrants from Makkah, known as Muhajirin and the helpers of Madinah known as Ansar. The emigrants were generally poor as even those who had been well off in Makkah had left all their belongings when they migrated. The Holy Prophetpbuh called them together and told them that Muhajirin had left all their belongings at Makkah and were penniless and shelterless. He, therefore, wanted to create a relationship of Mawakhat or Brotherhood between the Muhajirin and Ansar. 
The Ansar willingly accepted the proposal where upon the Holy Prophet(pbuh )gave the hand of one Muhajir into that of one Ansar selected by him and declared the two to have become brothers. In this way a brotherhood was established between the emigrants and the helpers. According to this brotherhood, the Ansar shared all their possessions with the emigrants. Each Ansar took his Muhajir brother to his house and treated him with hospitality. This brotherhood among Muslims helped build a strong Muslim community.

Treaty with other religion </h3>
After settling down in Madinah the Holy Prophet(pbuh )realized that the foundation of the Islamic Empire would be very weak unless it was based on the good will and support of all the people living there. With this object, the Holy Prophet(pbuh) entered into an agreement with the people living in Madinah especially the Non muslims

Agreement with people of Madina</h3>
Main points of this agreement are followimg 
1-The Muslims and the people of madina would deal with each other with sympathy and sincerity and would not indulge in any aggression or wrong against each other. 
2-No group of people would go out to fight without the permission of the Holy Prophet(pbuh). 
3-In case of an attack on Madinah, all groups of people would combine in repelling it. 
4-The people of Madina  would not help the Quraish or provide refuge to them. 
5-The  people of Madina would have full liberty to follow their religion without any interference from the Holy Prophet(pbuh) or his followers. 
6-Every one’s life and property would be safe and would be respected. 
All disputes would be decided by the Holy Prophet(pbuh) according to the laws and customs of each group of the people of Madinah. 
This agreement is a landmark in the history of mankind. It guaranteed freedom of worship to the people of Madina. It also guaranteed protection of their life and property. It was an attempt to establish friendly and cordial relations between the  people of Madina and Muslims of Madinah to live together as peaceful citizens and defend the town from all invaders. 
This agreement also established the Holy Prophet(pbuh) as the leader and the head of the Islamic State of Madinah. He was now recognised as the ruler, judge and commander of the people of Madinah.</div>

Hazrat Jibrail  (A.S) </h2>

Jibril is the Ruh Al-Qudus. </h3>
Allah says in surah 26: 193-194 
"Which the trustworthy Ruh (Jibril) has brought down. Upon your heart (O Muhammad ) that you may be (one) of the warner." 
<h4>
Hadith#1</h4>
Hazrat `A'ishah (R.A) says that the Holy Propet(PBUH) erected a Minbar in the Masjid –ul-Nabvi for  Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit (R.A) . 
He (PBUH) said 
"O Allah! Aid Hassan with Ruh Al-Qudus, for he defended Your Prophet."

 The holy prophet(pbuh) said " 
Ruh Al-Qudus informed me that no soul shall die until it finishes its set provisions and term limit. Therefore, have Taqwa of Allah and seek your sustenance in the most suitable way."

Hadith#3 </h4>
Hazrat Umar farooq said" One day when we were with holy prophet(PBUH), a man with white clothing and black hair came to us. None of us recognized him. There were no traces of travel on his face .He was Sitting down before the Holy Prophet, (PBUH) and asked about Islam.' 
The Holy Prophet, (PBUH) replied, 'Islam means that you should bear witness that there is no god but God and that Muhammad(PBUH) is Allah’s messenger, that you should perform the ritual prayer, pay the alms tax, fast during Ramadan, and make the pilgrimage to the Ka’aba at Mecca if you are able to go there.' 
The stranger said, 'You have spoken the truth.' At this We were amazed. 
The stranger questioned again, 'Now tell me about faith.' 
The Holy Prophet, (PBUH) replied, 'Faith means that you have faith in Allah, His angles, His books, His messengers and the Last Day, and that you have faith in fate as it is measured out, both its good and evil aspects.'The stranger then said, 'Now tell me about virtue.' 
The Holy Prophet, (PBUH) said, 'Virtue is doing what is beautiful . 
The stranger asked again , 'Tell me about the Hour .' 
The Holy Prophet, (PBUH) replied, ' he who is questioned knows no more than the questioner.' 
The man said, ' then tell me about its signs.' 
The Holy Prophet, (PBUH) replied, 'The slave girl will give birth to her mistress, and you will see the barefoot, the naked, the destitute, and the shepherds will compete with each other in building.' 
At that, the man went away. 
After that, the Holy Prophet, (PBUH) spoke to me: 'Do you know who the questioner was,?' I replied, 'Allah and His Holy Prophet, (PBUH) know best.' The Holy Prophet, (PBUH) said, 'He was Jibril . </div>
